The Congress has accused Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and the CPM-led LDF of having an improper relationship with the BJP, after JD(S) supremo HD Deve Gowda claimed that Vijayan agreed with the move of the regional party to join the BJP-led NDA front. The Congress demanded the expulsion of the JD(S) representative in the state cabinet. Vijayan denied the allegations and criticized the Congress for its own alliances with the BJP. The JD(S) Kerala unit clarified that it will remain a part of the LDF in the state.
